Windows 10
I have Vegas Pro 13 and have used it mostly problem free besides the occasional lock up. I just recently upgraded to Windows 10 and am doing a small project this morning for the first time since upgrade and it has stopped working or locked up 4 times??
Is this not compatible with Windows 10 or another issue?

It locked up because Vegas 13 is a bit too old to work efficiently in Windows 10.

I’ve been using Pro 12, 13 and 14 with Windows 10. No problems here.

It certainly works with Windows 10. But when you upgrade your OS there’s a lot of garbage from your old version that gets left behind, including codec fragments which could be causing your problems.
First thing I’d do is uninstall any codec packs and then reinstall them fresh if you need them.
If you still have problems, you might have to bite the bullet and do a fresh Windows 10 install. It sucks, but it’s a panacea for a lot of these issues that arise out of upgrading.

The best option i would recommend is upgrading Vegas Pro also. Since you already upgraded Windows, that should be your next logical step for an efficient workflow….. But make sure you remove/uninstall everything Vegas before you do the new upgraded install.
