this is related to the little bit of frustration that occurs when relinking all the media to a project upon opening it after all the media had merely been moved to a differently named folder on a fresh drive. when locating each folder for each clip, i have to always move the vertical dividing bar of the “Locate File” window to the right to read the whole name(s) of the folder(s) that are within folders within folders, etc. My question: is there a way to default this Locate File window to stay at a certain configuration during this locating process? Yes, it will go be submitted to Feature Requests if no answer here. Thanks!

thanks for helping out a bonehead!

Not that I’m aware of. Usually when you relink one file, it will find the rest automatically. Of course, the best way to solve this is to not move your files in the first place..
