Window Media Player Music visualization effect

Can anyone point me in the right direction or to any tutorial that might be hiding around somewhere so I could achieve this effect. I dont know how to search it, I put music wave,sound wave but nada!! The music metre is not what I am looking for but the wave like form…

Like an oscillating waveform?

You could capture the output in a digital format via the analog hole as it is generated with a software package such as fraps. But you’ll need to check the rights to use such material.
