Hello. Does anyone have experience with removing wind from audio? I shot a wedding at a beach and I would like to get rid of most of the wind in the background. I am trying to do it with Adobe Soundbooth. Any suggestions?

Some options if SoundBooth doesn’t help: FAQ:How do I reduce recorded noise like wind etc.?

Someone please correct me on this, but I have found that once you have wind noise there isn’t much you can do about it. I take every precaution to not shoot in windy situations or I use dead cats or try to hide mics under clothing.

usually I just dump the clip. If the wind is in the background and isn’t too severe, you may be able to cover it with a music bed, but again, I throw the audio out unless I am shooting news or it is live and there is nothing I can do about it.

Sorry about that, but since I have been in the biz, there is no good post solution for wind
