    Im considering the ReSolve for OSX – and Im looking into if I can run it on my existing hardware:

    2008 macpro ( 3,1 version )

    I have a Radeon HD 2600 in the Mac as of now, but theres a GTX285 lying around here that isnt installed.

    I Have a decklink HD extreme 2.

    Can the Radeon be used for the GUI part?

    Is the HD extreme 2 any use at all?

    Yes I just tried it with an HD 2600 got errors.. hell it doesn’t like my 9400M GT in the MBP either.
    Other folks? This is strictly a work test machine. My normal resolve box is very happy with the Quadro 4000 etc. Just would be nice to do some stuff with OpenCL on this box

    On your MBP with 9600/9400, remember to turn off Energy Saver.

    Haven’t tested the radeon cards, but the GTX285 rivals Quadro performance, especially when it’s not used as your main gui card.

    I have Resolve installed on a Mac Pro 09 with a GTX285 card installed to assist with CUDA processing. The Apple LED runs off the MP display port via the original video card and the Dream Color display runs off an internal BMD HDE 3 card via a BMD HD Link Pro.

    It runs like a train in Japan. I am upgrading through.

    I added these to debug for my macbook pro 2.93 works fine so far. no more error.
    even on Lion 10.7 For Resolve 8.0.3

    LsManager.3.NumGPUs = 1
    LsManager.3.GPUMapping = 0
    LsManager.3.GPUMappingEnable = 1

    NOTE: You will have to Save and restart Resolve for these settings to take effect.
