Will Tangent Element be supported?
Posted by Gustavo Bermudas on September 12, 2011 at 8:11 pmI was wondering if we could get an official response from the Blackmagic team about the future support of Tangent Element

September 12, 2011 at 8:24 pmI spoke to both Tangent and Blackmagic this last week, and it seems that only after the Element is oficially released and made available to the public, the Davinci team will probably make it compatible with the next update of Resolve.
That’s what I understood, don’t shoot me if I’m wrong.

September 12, 2011 at 8:28 pmI wonder if Tangent plans to phase out the Wave and replace it with the new panels? Or if they plan to use the tube interface on an updated wave?

September 12, 2011 at 8:47 pmI’d probably get the element panels if they do support it. But it would depend on whether or not you can customize it or how well it’s laid out. I just wish we could customize ANYTHING on the Wave panels. I’d settle for simply knob tolerances but I would lay things out much differently if I could.
