Will PI for OSX run on new Macs using Intel chip?
Do we know yet if PI for OSX will run on the new line of Macs that will be coming out using the Intel chip? I know apps like Final Cut Pro are having to be rewritten… I hope PI will be ready for this new chip – it’d be a shame to just have gotten an OSX version that works but not one that will run on the new machines. I’m just curious because I’m considering buying one of the new laptops that uses the Intel chip and I’d love to be able to run PI on it. Thanks for your help!

Yes it will, using Rosetta. It’s slower than it should be, but it works. I should say that we haven’t tested every feature, but the basics (at least) work.
