Will FCP5 multiclip XML data transfer to FCP4.5?
I’m doing a cooperative arts project. Several volunteers are running FCP4.5. I’m running FCP5, and have choosen to edit a multiclip sequence.
If we share a external firewire drive with the media on it, can I export my multiclip sequence to XML, and can the FCP4.5ers open it?
Do they get a series of clips? Do these clips access the orginal media thus allowing change the in and out ponts?

No. Multiclip information is not exported to XML 1.0, and FCP 4.5 cannot import XML 2.0.
