Need to film in very hot climate (34 Celsius)and in the sun this weekend.

Have the tilta ikan rig which has holes for the Camera Fan,

Should I still be concerned about overheating.

    Will be filming RAW.

I know the cam gets very hot quickly which is why I am asking.

If you operated the camera in any shade, I am not sure if you would have problems, especially recording RAW; but if the camera was in direct sunlight I would expect heat problems. I would do what you can to keep the camera body out of direct sun and keep air moving around it.

I would keep out of direct sunlight because the metal may conduct heat faster than a DLSR.. But the fan on the BMCC seems very powerful.
