Was browsing around the App Store today on my iMac and I was wondering if Apple will go in there and re-structure the store a little bit for the X Brands.

For one thing, there’s no Audio category. So where would Logic and Soundtrack Pro go (assuming Soundtrack is in there) I’m curious if they will add a “professional” category so they can keep the Pro Apps grouped together as a subset or if we’ll have to go to Video to find FCP / Color, Graphic Design to find Motion and then maybe an Audio category to find the audio tools.

    They won’t need to Walter.

Final Cut Pro will be the pro app.

    Why not do it today?

I agree that they need to change the way the app store is laid out. It feels a lot like I-tunes, which is great for browsing when you don’t really know what you want, but not great for searching out apps that have a specific purpose. On my last visit to the app store I wasn’t sure whether they just didn’t have the kind of apps that I wanted or if I just hadn’t found them yet.
