wiggling individual particles randomly only on one axis in TC particular/form?

August 2, 2013 at 12:42 pmI think you can’t do that with particular. With form, from what I saw, theres at least one way to do it. You can use layers maps and apply individually to each axis. I’m guessing if you do a fractal noise small enough and use a high strengh it will be close to “individual” value to each particle.
Check if it solves your problem. If not explain it better what you’re after and I’ll see if I can help you get closer to it.

make your particle in a precomp and have it wiggle randomly on your chosen axis
In particular set the particle to a sprite and chose your precomped particle layer.
There are various playback settings for this particle/sprite . one of which is ‘random loop’ or something like that.
I dont have it open so dont know the exact settings but its something like that.
