Is there any way to attach some kind of wiggle expression to a mask or path to make it change shape at random? My ultimate goal is to make the shapes look like living cells; is there any better/quicker way than simply moving points and keyframing? Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance

No. Masks are not accessible with expressions. You can only post-modify vertices e.g. by attaching them to a tracker with a JSX script. The process is slow and tedious, though. Search the main AE forum archives for some tips and links to those scripts. Unless there’s an urgent reason to use masks, you should explore other routes like using displacement effects.
