width highly inacurate
the width of a layer returns the width of the entire layer before scaling and pixel aspect ratio being applied. Is there anything that will give me the width of the layer on the composition?
it took me a while to figure out why xPosition=width/2 did not work to place a layer on the border.

This should give you the width in most cases:
length(toWorld([width,0]), toWorld([0,0]))
