I have a three min movie project with sound effects, avi and a few filters. The preview looks fine. but when I try to render to widerscreen, the video comes out DARK and slightly over saturated. How do I fix this and what am I doing wrong or missing. I’ve played arround with the filters a million ways and still no luck.

A few questions. When you say preview, are you previewing to a second monitor, firewire to a TV or using the little preview window in Vegas?

How are you watching the finished product?

Is there a way to check both of these with color bars and make sure they are calibrated?

Yeah you know what, I hooked it up to an external monitor and I now see why having one while editing is so important. I was able to see what my final output was going to be, allowing me to solve the problem.

    Thanks
