  Widescreen project on dvd question

  I made a video of a lower jaw talking that needs to be burned to a dvd so it can be played at trade show. The video needs to be full screen, but when i burned it to a dvd its in standard def. How do I get rid of those black bars on the side I used Idvd to burn the project. I selected 16.9 widescreen and everything but still it’s 16.9
