Widescreen in Premiere Pro
I have a Sony DCR HC90E PAL handycam that shoots in both 16:9 widescreen and 4:3 standard. When I capture the footage onto the computer through Premiere, the footage gets stretched upwards. It plays in widescreen just fine in Premiere, but when exported it becomes stretched again.
Anyone know what the problem is?

The footage is natively captured -[pinched]-, premiere pro just expands it to display it 16×9. When you record it in widescreen mode, the physical video is pinched together where everything looks taller.
