    Hi,

I’m trying to animate a line (with an arrow at one end) which I am able to do just fine, only I would like the end of the line (where the arrow is) to be thicker than the start.

I have constructed a jagged line with the bezier tool with the arrow at one end.

Is there a way to do this apart from the complex task of creating the shape and animating a mask over it?

    Thanks!

    Moooooooo! Go COW!

The only way to vary the width of a stroke is to first change it to AIRBRUSH and set it in the stroke parameters. But then you lose the arrowhead as an end cap option. So if anything, you’d have to make some sort of hybrid of the two. OR you could rotate it in 3D space and set a camera with a very high field of view in front of it. That’s assuming it’s just a straight line/arrow.

    Thanks for your input.

I’ve found a way to get a semblance of what I need by incorporating the distort tool as well.
