    Hi

For about two months now, been having a bit of issue playing my timeline, FCP7. I’ve got 4 internal hard drives, 1 is the MAC drive with FCP app on it, and the A drive has all my video/media and has 500GB available (out of 750)…problem is, after I’m editng for say 5 or 10 minutes, my timeline, usually Pro Res 422 or HQ, stutters and audio might crack here and there, this happens particularly when I activate command F12, show full screen on my Apple 23″. I’ve got two monitors. Sometimes the timeline will do the stuttering just in regular view as well, all frames off for instance.

So what I’m wondering is this, the A drive is original, 2.5 years old from Apple with my MAC PRO 3.0 and I wonder if it’s going bad and that’s what causes the stuttery playback issiues, it’s usually after a few minutes of editing. Or what do you think? Here’s a pic of the error message I sometimes get along with a pic of my media drive speed test.

    Thanks

    K
