  • Why Premiere Pro cs3 interlace my progressive footage

    Hi everybody…
    Recently I have a problem when try to export my footage from premiere pro CS3.
    My footage is 1440x1080p, I create a project in premiere with this size, edit my material, but when I try to export it to a Tiff sequence, it render my footage like an interlaced one.
    This are only a part of the entire image to show the problem.

    1. Are you certain your material is actually progressive?
    2. Do you have frame blending switched on the clips? Try turning that off.
    3. Is the timeline actually progressive?
    4. Are the AME export settings with the TIFF export set to progressive?
    5. I don’t know?
    6. Why TIFF export?
    7. Anyone else?

    Yes, that’s not interlacing, I’m with Jon, that does looks like a frame blending issue, but I’m not sure why. We’ll need more info.

    Tanks guys, The original material has captured in progressive mode. In premiere i select the HDV 1080p30 preset, it correspond to my footage.
    Maybe the problem is in the frame blending parameter… i search it and try…
    I’m exporting my edit in tiff sequence to delete some points that i put in the wall to make tracking in post, and postproduce the sequence.
    I’m a newbie in HD and export to tiff to preserve the quality of the material ¿Is that ok?, i don’t have special hardware or codecs, is there other way to export the video to make post in AE and preserve the quality?
