    Hello all,
A weird little function malfunction: in CC 2013 (7.2.2) I paste a montage of clips with dissolves onto a timeline, into V2 on top of the V1. Then I want to ripple delete specific shots. But ripple delete is grayed out.
I lock the V1 and the tracks. No effect. I try an extract edit, which seems to extract the audio tracks too even if they are locked.
It makes no difference if the dissolve effects are cleared or not.
If I cut the shot, I can’t close the gap, still no ripple delete.
The laborious workaround is to cut the shot, zoom way back on the timeline, select the entire montage, zoom way back in, and drag the selected montage to cover the gap. But I can’t quickly see the effect of the cut this way.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks,
    Robert

BTW these are MOS clips with no link to audio. In fact I can’t see a menu option to unsync them.

Solution: Save, restart Pr, works. (V1 and audio still locked).
