    Do you have another audio track soloed?

    i am such a newbie to this (literally 3 days)…what does that mean and how do I find out if i have another track soloed? Thanks, amy

    In the track header are several little icons. It might help to check the help file and find out what each means and does.

    The one that looks like an exclamation point is the solo icon. If it is activated that track will be activated and the others will be inactivated. An inactivated track is generally dark gray. The crossed out circle is the mute icon. That inactivates (or turns off) a track. If your video tracks are muted or you have a track with no video where the curser is soloed, you will get a blank (black) preview screen.

    Same works for audio tracks.
