    Why is, “open in audio editor” grayed out, i.e. inaccessible?

    I have Sony Sound Forge 10.

    I have never used it but want to adjust some sound I recorded in Sony Movie Studio Platinum 13.

    I was reading the instructions and it says to select (in Movie Studio):

    tools
    audio
    open in audio editor

    But, “open in audio editor” can’t be accessed, it’s grayed out?

    Lenovo quad core i7 16gb of ram, Windows 8.1 MS 13 64 bit

    You need to first set your audio editor in: Options | Preferences | Audio then Preferred audio editor. I assume it’s not set. Click the Browse… button to set it to Sound Forge 10.

    Yup – I had just figured it out and was coming back to say I had figured it ou.

    Yes – options, preferences worked!
