why is my video so dark??
ive wrapped up doing my first demo reel but in testing it on different tv’s im noticing that much of the video is very dark

the footage thats dark was captured with my tv card from DVD movies. when i capture i pretty much leave all of the contrast and color settings as is.
on my computer it looks fine and most of the t.v.s its pretty dark but not to bad but on at least one tv the video was near flat black. whats a good way to get good contrast/light and still keep evenly lite or good color balence.also does anyone know how to import media into DVD arch. the same size that it was created in. im trying to import media over the background media (like text) but when i bring it in i have to resize it up and it doesnt look very professional. i need clean sharp text.
