Why is my video quality pixelated when I scale
I’m using Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 and I am working on a sequence that is 800×450. My source footage is 1920×1080 and when I place the footage on the timeline at 100% the image quality is pixelated. When i reduce the footage to 42% to fit the frame, the quality is fine. Does that seem right? I was thinking with a larger source file on a small frame I should be able to easily scale before the quality started to decline.
