    Hello,
I’ve just transferred my footage from my canon t2i into FCP 7 and it looks horrible. I’ve transferred a from this camera a number of times and it’s never done this before so what am I doing wrong? On the left is the video as it looks if I simply open the .mov in quicktime (and as it looked in camera). On the right is what the image looks like transferred to Apple ProRes 422 and opened in FCP.
    thank you!

The one viewed in quicktime looks blown-out and over-exposed. The one in FCP looks more evenly exposed buy you could certainly play with it in the 3-way color corrector to make it look more like the first shot. I’m not sure I’d want to, though.
