Why is my bluray export/burn not working?
I have a video for a client that is to be burned to DVD and to Blu Ray. I had no trouble exporting the reference file from from FCP to compressor to make the DVD, however when I try to make a blu ray I get an estimated time of 40+ hours, and even if I wait it fails halfway through. The only difference between the DVD and bluray sequence is that I added an additional clip for the bluray. Now I’ve been wondering if this additional clip is creating any issues–considering the clip is pro res 422 and 720p and the sequence is 422 LT and 1080i.

You answered your own question. Mixing formats like that complicates the render.
