Why is my Aspect Ratio changing when I export from FCP to Motion!?!?!
Hey, I am trying to export 8mm footage from FCP 4.5 to Motion to add titles, effects, etc. – the footage is 16:9 but when I export to motion it shrinks it to 4:3 no matter what I do to change the sequence settings or user preferences in FCP, the export settings in Motion, nothing works!! this is really frustrating, I want to edit my footage in it’s proper aspect ratio!! Please help. At every available turn I have choosen 16:9 as the aspect ratio, or 16:9 anamorphic as the Pixel aspect ratio, etc etc etc – very frustrated.
