    Hi

I have a sequece of selects. i “f” one into the viewer. it has in and out points based on what was cut into the sequence. When i hit command u nothing happens, and when i go to the Modify menu “make Subclip” is greyed out.

I haver done this before, what would prevent it from working now?

    thanx for your help

ps I know i can do it in media manager, but i juat want to do a couple of shots and it seemed faster this way, when it works

    Hey Bob

maybe subclip is greyed (grayed?) out because you somehow un linked the clips in your sequence to the clips in the browser, you knucklehead!

WHen you press shift f you will get a message telling you that “there is no master cip in the browser, do you want to make one?”

so now you Have to use Media manager! nice goin porcupine!

If you drag your clips from your sequence to a bin, you might get what you want.

Sounds like you might have made the seq. clips ‘independent’.
