Why is After Effects showing me this error?
Please give me some suggestions on how to fix it.
After Effects error: preferences file “Adobe After Effects 23.3 Prefs-effects.txt” is not valid. The file will be renamed with “.old”, and a new preferences file will be created.

Most likely your preferences were corrupted and need to be rebuilt.
