  • Why is AE not snapping CTI (current time indicator) while holding shift?

For some reason, suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere, AE has stopped snapping the CTI (current time indicator) onto the start or end of my clips when I move it while pressing SHIFT, which has effectively slowed down my workflow a lot… I’m searching online but there’s no hint of the issue; no hint why it should no longer snap when it has always snapped while pressing SHIFT. I’ve searched in the preferences, and searched in the shortcuts, and there’s no reference to this function. What’s going on? Any ideas?

I ask this question when I have a layer’s attributes open and there are lots of visible keyframes to snap to, so it feels like its not snapping to what you expect but is in fact snapping to something.
    Possible?
