  Why is 4K XAVC so choppy with a Decklink Extreme 3D card?

  I’m doing a lot more 4K now with my Sony F5. But whenever I try to work with 4K 25P (and off-speed), the playback via SDI on the Decklink is terrible. It stutters and sometimes stops altogether. I’m using XAVC 4K clips scaled in a 1080 timeline. This feels like a hardware limitation. Is the RT downscaling too much for the Decklink?

  My system is;
  Adobe CC 2014
  Mac Pro 2012
  24gb RAM
  16gb SAS RAID-10 – 30% full
  GTX680 2gb
  Decklink Extreme 3D

  Does anyone else have 4K issues on 1080 Premiere timelines with their Decklink?
