well, i’d say it was better than mediocre. but you know, the Oscars does not have a great track record at picking Best Picture if you look historically at what won and what didn’t win.

Wonder if the top NLE’s keep a list, “Cut on Avid,” Cut on FCP” etc — for Best Picture and Best Editing Oscars?

Yeah, I was pretty upset that Life is Beautiful didn’t win that year. Though I really like Gladiator as well.
