  • Why don’t photos display in PS7 when selected from a folder?

Running PS7 with Windows XP Pro on a Pentium 4 PC. PS7 is selected as the application to open when clicking on graphic files.

When I browse through window’s folders and click on a tga or tif file, PS7 loads and opens but the file I clicked on does not display automatically. I then have to use PS7’s browser and find that photo and click on it to edit it. Is there a setting in PS7 that I need to set to automatically display the file?

Could anyone who uses Photoshop 7 confirm whether or not you are able to have a graphic file automatically open in PS7 when you click on the file name in Windows explorer?

    Thanks,
    Mike S.
