I tried to make something with sound effector. I can hear sound but nothing moves. What could be wrong?

Maybe you could give more details, it is impossible to guess what your problem is.

It’s probably because your sound file is a MP3, try converting it to a .wav.

Hi, I also have the same problem. I already checked the CD4 specs for audio export…

(Load a .wav or .aif sound file into this field. The files must be uncompressed.
    The following is supported:
    11,22 kHz and 44 kHz
    8-bit and 16-bit

One second of CINEMA 4D animation is equal to one second of sound from the sound file. In other words, if a CINEMA 4D animation is played at 25 fps, the sound file’s frequency spectrum will also be interpolated (sampled) at 25 fps (see also texture path pages).)

The way I did the fps part was exporting the file in AE within a 25 fps composition…

    …And I still can hear anything…

    Any Idea??

    thank you

When you say you can’t hear anything, does that mean your effector is working but you can’t hear the sound? Just want to be clear.

If that IS the case, then you need to make sure that the speaker icon is switched on in the lower right corner (see picture)

in 12 the help says (in Appendix/File Formats)

    Sound Formats
The following sampling rates are supported for sound files:
    11, 22 and 44 kHz
    8-bit and 16-bit

    WAV Import
Only uncompressed WAV files are supported.
Markers included in the WAV files are imported into CINEMA 4D.

    AIFF-Import
Mac sound files are also supported.

in 14 if quicktime is present anything quicktime will read can be used (.mp3s etc)
