Why Doesn’t a Timeline Render Expedite Export Time?
Hi everyone,
I have a half-hour prores timeline with all prores media. The sequence has some keying.
A render takes 40-45 minutes.
But an uncompressed export takes just as long.
Shouldn’t the render expedite export time? I don’t understand why Premiere can’t access the rendered files.
Any ideas?

“Use Previews” has never worked for me. I’ve done lots of testing, applying all sorts of effects, gpu rendering on and off, lots of different codecs. “Match Sequence” selected with “use Previews” checked, makes no difference whatsoever to export times. I’m on PP 6.0.2 on a Mac. Does it work for you guys?
