Why does the search for files window keep popping up?
I recently did some audio work with some music files and now every few minutes a window pops up asking, “where is file ‘music.mpg’?” I thought I had these files already imported, but recently they came up as offline, so I right-clicked on them and clicked link to media. Also, I am currently working on a copy of a copy of a recovered file, if that means anything. Thanks.

Hardrive going bad?
Well, that’s unlikely but not unheard of. Are you working on an external drive?
That should only pop up once as you load the project if the drive letter changed for example, anything after than would mean a lost connection to a drive (or network maybe?)
