Why does the Pro Res from a Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Shuttle look worse than the more compressed footage from my Canon C300?

800% still frame comparison https://imgur.com/a/pSTkS#0 Note the lips, shoulder, and overall noise in the images.

I had a HyperDeck Shuttle hooked up via HD-SDI to my Canon C300. Shouldn’t the less compressed Pro Res footage look better than the 50mbps Canon XF footage from the C300? Is there some in-camera post processing making the image look better?
