Posted by Sergio Faleiros on October 23, 2009 at 2:34 pm

While im working with my mac pro ( is a 8 core, 3.0gh ….32gbs of memory ram and 4 terabytis of Hard drive.i spend more than 16 thousands dollars…to have a good performance while working with final cut pro.

The questian is,when i put a templates from final cut pro 7, the computer gets so heavy, that is very hard to work on it.the red bar above the timeline on final cut pro keeps red, and when i put to render just to watch the templates to make changes it takes forever to become green, and when i make any change goes back to red again.

and sometimes when i put some effects on it, does the samething.
what do i have to do to keep the render line above timeline all green?
because with a computer im using, how come it takes so long to produce something on it?

    please i need help

Listen, Mr. Genius, I will pray for you and your family every night, if you tell me how to match these terrible 1000 000 codecs. First how to find out if I am recording on HD XH A1 which codec i am getting after capturing auto into my FCP x? And then how I can find out codecs of all my material i am using including photos. I like FCP x but still long way to go technically. Appreciate your time Mr. Genius!
