Why does my panasonic dvx100p not capture when using firewire with premier 2.0 is there a plugin i have looked everywhere for drivers. What do i do.

Go buy yourself a tape deck. There’s no excuse when you can get one for $1000. Why destroy your camera?

Are you saying you can damage your camera by using it to playback videos as they are captured into Premier?
