Why does CS4 not open file in a new window anymore? Any setting to change this?
I think my only complaint about CS4 is that when you create a new file or open an old one and you’ve already got a file open it tabs it into the same window. I hate this! Is there a way to turn this off so files will always open in a new window like the good old days?

Edit > Preferences > Interface > Deselect:
- Open Documents As Tabs
- Enable Floating Document Window Docking
This will get you closest to pre-CS4 behavior.
