  Why does Clip Browser archive with Finder D&D?

  Hi, Sage Ones:

  I’m archiving some footage from XDCam EX BPAVs to DVD. The Clip Browser manual says to select the files you want to send to DVD, show them in the Finder and do the backup operation in Finder.

  Why would these backed up files have integrity if, unlike everything that needs to be managed in Clip Browser, they were just done in Finder?

  I hope I’m not asking for something that has been posted, if so a link would be greatly appreciated, but what, if not this way, is the best way to archive Sony BPAVs to DVD?
