  why do we have trouble making subclips of sequences in Premiere Pro 2014.1?

  We are setting up a new project in Premiere Pro 2014. It is an animation project and so we are cutting together still images with sound.

  Often during these projects we will subclip a section that often comprises several still images and audio. We will save that subclip for possible later use. These are often complex builds and it is a huge time saver to subclip these sections while editing.

  We are unable to make the subclip function work consistently. And we haven’t been able to discover what may be causing the tool to only work sometimes.

  Has anyone found anything that would help us out?
