The title is self explanatory. Why are there so many questions here but no response even from the moderators? Is anybody out there?

Do you know of any other JVC forums with active communities?

I was so excited about the new firmware update for our cams, figured there would be tons of people talking about the live streaming and how they were using the new functionality. But I’ve found nothing.

There has to be a secret JVC discussion going on somewhere.

I respond only when I believe I have something substantive to offer or have a question like this one: “Did JVC send out firmware updates? We’ve got three GYHM-700s and one GYHM-100. I’ve not seen any notifications from JVC (the cams are registered). Should I go to the JVC USA site to retreive firmware updates?”

    Thanks.

And Ryan, what model TriCaster do you have? We have an XCD-300.

You can check at pro.jvc.com and click on “support” at the top of the page and then “product and firmware updates” on the left side. If you have an update it will be listed there. Good luck.

Sorry for your frustration, we do have folks responding here but has been inconsistent to say the least, and only recently was a formal assignment made for monitoring the NewTek TriCaster forum section, which you have posted in.

Some of the threads have been quite active here recently, and we’ll do our best to keep that consistent from this point forward in this section.

Do you have a question on a NewTek TriCaster or 3Play?

OK, now I’m confused. This is posted in the Creative Cow JVC camera/deck forum. Why are you referring to the Tricaster forum?

For whatever reason, your post is showing in both forum sections, and a few of the replies are showing in both sections.

    Thank you, Chuck.

I seem to have an ongoing problem logging in and posting. For now it seems OK.

I don’t know why things have been posted in more than one location. I saw your NewTek Tricaster ID so I thought I’d mention we use a TriCaster TCXD300.

Can I please have your NewTek email address?

    Thank you,

We are currently using a 455 in our web studio.

I’m hoping we’ll add an 855/8000 to the studio and keep the 455 for remote stuff.

I received no posting on my question either. Strange. It’s not like nobody is using JVC cameras.

I can be reached at cbaker (at) newtek (dot) com, but I should note that I handle social media communications, and do not have technical expertise in the TriCaster – for problems your best bet is to contact our support services.

We do have a couple of our sale engineers who frequent this forum and can answer technical and how-to questions.
