  Why do RAM previews not play full framerate?

  I thought the whole point of waiting for a RAM preview to render, was that when it was done your composition would play at its real speed.

  But my RAM previews seem to drop famerates, so on a PAL 25 fps project, the RAM preview will drop down to likw 22 frames, then up to 23.. etc.

  what s going on?
