Why do my online clips look soooo bad?
I have Vegas 9. When I render as a .wmv, my clips look good but I cannot use the pop-up player on my site. When rendered as mp4, they look stuttery. Any ideas how to make them look good yet play fast? You can see what I mean by following the link. All the clips are mp4 and look so bad.

The video is stuttering because it can’t buffer fast enough. If you watch the play head you’ll see it is catching up to the download bar and then waiting for more video to download. How high a bit-rate did you use? Try lowering it. If WMV plays smooth, try using the same bit-rate you used for WMV. Also which MP4 encoder did you use? MainConcept or Sony? I use the Sony AVC encoder for own work and am very happy with it.
