why do audio level keyframes sometimes not work?
Every once in awhile this happens: i’m editing the keyframes on an audio clip, in this case dropping it down a few dBs, but on playback it plays like it’s at 0dB again. I cleared my cache and tried it again. Same thing. i’ve brought the clip down to -infinite…same thing. Bring it up to 6db. Same. Any ideas?

somehow you inadvertantly engaged a different mixing mode in the track mixer.
Make sure its in Read. The other modes behave differently. Read the above to learn what the other modes are for and how to use them.
