why choose PI over Trapcode’s Particular?
played with PI demo and found it pretty cool, and since Digital Juice has it on 50% discount, am considering buying. At same time, I realise Particular has 3D space, and integrates with AE well.
any advice on why to choose PI over Particular (esp as someone recently posted that PI has had minimal development in recent years, unlike Particular)?

PI has a wonderfully large library of cool things. But I prefer the real time integration and 3D interactivity of Particular …hands down!
