Why can’t I see progress while I’m rendering?
No doubt I’ve done something silly like press some obscure button in the options, but I’m not getting real-time update on my renders from the render queue any more. The comp view just sits there looking at whatever the last frame I looked at was. It’s been doing this for a while.
It’s not really a big deal, but I quite often catch silly mistakes while a render is going!
What have I pressed?!

Have you upgraded to the lastest cc2015’s?
Then that’s the culprit.
As far as I know, the only solution is switching back to cc2014. -

I like to render from CC 2014, even when I’m working in CC 2015. The project files are compatible, so it’s as easy as opening the file.
CC 2014 supports multiprocessing, and CC 2015 does not, so that may also be a factor to consider depending on your hardware setup.
