Why can’t I render
After finishing a coupe of projects with my imac and FCP pro with no problems, I am all of a sudden unable to render anything.
It makes no difference what compression settings the sequences are set to or how compressed the media is, nothing will render.
When I attempt a render the ‘rendering’ box which shows the progression bar opens for a split second and then nothing else happens.

Have you activated all the Render Options under Render All and Render Selection?
If so and it’s still not working, trash your prefs and restart the machine. Could be a simple corruption somewhere along the way and this usually fixes it.
