Why cant I put a wiggle on a null object!???

I have a layered character travelling in a car…. so I group together with a nul things like – arm, body, hand…. then group together other things like car body, bumpers etc…. so….

hoping that I can make them all wiggle but at slightly different timings so that it gives a travelling bumping sensation…

So I add wiggle position to the null and it doesnt wiggle its position!

You apply a wiggle expression to the position property of one of the nulls and that null doesn’t move? Screenshot of your timeline please. Also, which null did you apply it to?
